What is mindfulness?
When we think of the word “mindfulness”, we think of noticing.
Noticing the world around us.
Noticing how our bodies are reacting to different situations.
Noticing our thoughts running through our heads.
Mindfulness helps us to be in the moment and open our eyes and hearts.
A mindfulness practice helps us be more in tune with our bodies. It teaches us how to calm the chaos and come back to the present moment. This, in turn, reduces stress, anxiety and worry.
